Responsibilities may include actuarial valuations, plan design, claim analysis, network development, government reporting, compliance, special studies, investment services, investment policy, asset allocation, performance measurement, business proposals and cultivating new clients.

Senior Account Executive

Dallas

Provide strategic planning and H&W consulting advice to clients to include production of Requests for Proposal, coordinating vendor responses, analysis and comparison of RFP responses, and preparation of client reports with recommendations; develop baseline assessment for clients in determining cost drivers for their benefit plans (geographic, demographic, utilization, plan design, contribution methodology, etc.); develop an implementation plan with client to include coordinating communication strategy, and conducting enrollment meetings and training of client’s benefit personnel; review all agreements and SPD’s; meet with clients regularly to review a) large claims, b) abnormal utilization results, c) monthly claims experience, d) set strategies and goals, and e) conduct on-site vendor visits; develop and maintain financial tracking reports for trend and budget reports for clients; identify key changes and cost drivers if client is not tracking at budgeted levels; negotiate with carriers on both self-funded and fully insured renewals and proposals; identify components within the underwriting formula to focus on and negotiate (i.e. retention, trend, credibility factors, manual blend, reserve estimates, projected claims); and triage workflow issues with clients and vendors and intervene in resolving claims and administrative issues/problems.

6+ years H&W experience including client relations, marketing, finance, excellent knowledge of H&W plans, compliance, claims resolution, computer knowledge using Word & Excel, working knowledge of differing financial arrangements and products available to clients (i.e. fully insured, minimum premium, ASO), excellent organizational and communication skills and must be available for travel & client entertainment.

Salary: 100K to 125K + bonus eligible
