15+ years of related consulting experience with a national consulting firm including ability to work on multiple projects, experience writing proposals and participating in business development activities, ability to work well with others in a team environment, self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision, strong written, verbal and quantitative skills and attention to detail. 25% or less travel will be required.
Salary: 150K to 200K (based upon experience, knowledge & education) + bonus eligible up to 25%
Los Angeles, CA Manager will assist senior management in providing strategic and technical employee benefit consulting services to plan sponsors (e.g., employers, municipal governments, health & welfare funds, etc.) including:
5+ years of related consulting experience with a national consulting firm including technical background in underwriting and other areas of health care finance, strong understanding of health care plan design and alternative delivery systems, including consumer directed health plans with HRAs and HSAs, knowledge (plan design and pricing) of other health & welfare benefit plans (e.g., life, disability, dental, etc.), strong client presence, ability to work well in team-based environment, project management, presentation, and facilitation skills, well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously, well-developed verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ability to work independently and develop client relationships and strong work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence. 25% or less travel will be required.
Salary: 100K to 150K (based upon experience, knowledge & education) + bonus eligible up to 20%
Houston, TX Senior Vice President has consulting and operational responsibility with accountability for managing a major business unit and a significant volume of clients and revenue.
Primary responsibilities of this position include growth and maintenance of business through specific account management responsibilities, as either the primary consultant or account manager for major clients. Specifically will have responsibility to retain and grow business by acting as the lead manager for five (or more) clients with a strategic client focus; and/or serving as an account manager for multiple clients with 3+ lines of business. H&W practice leader responsibilities at either a local or regional level. In addition, individual may be responsible for chairing a National Practice Council. Possess expertise that is widely recognized by colleagues regionally, as well as nationally and clients that (will in most instances) span multiple lines of service. Encourage and cultivate enhanced business opportunities with existing and potential clients through representation of total portfolio of consulting products and services. Participate in cross-selling and interdependent business development opportunities. Will also involve other professionals across geographic, functional and business units to develop and provide responses to opportunities for business growth. Proactively pursue additional business opportunities both within existing client base as well as with new clients. Expected 10%-30% annual growth in total book of business. Responsibility for the establishment of strategic plans for the client that are consistent with business plan/strategy, will develop and cultivate strategic business relationships with senior level executives within the client organization, and manage stewardship meetings. Overall management of the project team including the establishment of roles, responsibilities and performance expectations for team, ensure team has an understanding of client needs as well as the economic framework for the work to be provided, and will modify team composition as required.
15+ years of Health & Welfare consulting firm experience including ability to work on multiple projects, writing proposals, participating in business development activities, ability to work well with others in a team environment, self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision, strong written, verbal and quantitative skills and attention to detail, Bachelors Degree, M.B.A. (preferred), License or Certificate Requirements: Appropriate Insurance License/Life and Health CEBS certification (or equivalent).
Salary: 175K to 225K (based upon experience, knowledge & education)
Dallas, TX Senior Manager will be responsible for Healthcare Consulting business development, contact with decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to proposal pricing strategy, develop solutions and methodologies, speaking and publication in industry periodicals, staff development, manage engagement risk, project management including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
15+ years of Healthcare consulting firm experience including ability to work on multiple projects, writing proposals, participating in business development activities, ability to work well with others in a team environment, self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision, strong written, verbal and quantitative skills and attention to detail.
